Coming up Monday, October 31st, 2016, for JB’s Pick as Racer of the Week, I have selected Ross Windley, from Manakau, Levin, New Zealand. Ross and his partner Barbara Taylor were recommended to me by our friends and former Racers of the Week Arran Brattle and Pauline Lane. Thanks, Arran and Pauline! Ross has been driving the 50-year-old Bojangles Racing 427 Ford Front-Engine Dragster for the last 30 years. He is a champion drag racer in New Zealand, winning the series in his class, and has been named Drag Racer of the Year by his club for 2 years running. I am looking forward to featuring Ross in my segment on October 31st!
