2017 Shakedown at the Summit Photos and Highlights




Three days of glorious early fall weather led to hot times at the 15th Annual Shakedown at the Summit. A total purse of $155,000 was up for grabs to the competitors in the 7 categories present. Ohio’s John DeCerbo took home the lion’s share of 40 grand by winning the pro-mod class. The Summit Motorsports Park crew and Kurt Johnson of Total Venue Concepts battled lots of sun and high track temperatures all weekend to provide a great surface. Car counts were up over previous years as well, with over 130 open comp cars and 50 top sportsman cars vying for one of 32 spots.
