Shane Elcoate's Supercharger Explosion

As most Aussie drag racing fans know, the Thunder Road Race Cars team is famous for having lots of beautiful drag cars. Shane Elcoate races one of them, a '41 Willys. His car came under trouble at the rain-shortened 2000 Winternationals. Shane left the line very hard and was on track for a record pass. Just before half track, the blower blasted into the car, and sadly injured his finger. The onboard computer said that if things had gone well, they would have run a 6.10!
