kickoff for the 2001 MIR Match Racing season.

April 29, 2001 - Drag Racing Story of the Day: MIR Pro Challenge 2001 - Day One Qualifying and Notes. This
one was on ME. I announced the race with old friend Lewis Bloom.

April 28, 2001 - Story of the Day and
Picture of the Day delayed. Hi everyone. Denise was in a car accident
this morning, so our story and picture of the day are a little late. Let's
call them the story and picture of the AFTERNOON! Denise is OK,
thankfully, but now we have to begin that happy little dance with the
insurance companies as we try to replace our minivan!
I'm off to Maryland
International Raceway for the first big race of the season, the
Pro Challenge. Should be lots of Pro Mods, Jet Cars, and other surprises.

shut down the Draglist offices for seven days in April while we enjoyed a great

IT'S OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY! The Drag Racing List went on the
Internet on April 10, 1996. From a simple one page advertisement for our
printed booklet and videos, to our current 1,100+ pages, it's been a
fantastic ride and we look forward to more fun in the future. Thanks to

for giving us the incentive to keep it up! You are all terrific. It's

Draglist Stages Unreal Comeback. I have
to brag about this a little bit. You all remember our hacker problems in
early March that basically had us dead in the water and unreachable for
ten whole days? Despite that, we got more hits in March than we ever have
-- over 118 thousand! This totally, completely blows my mind! We got more
hits in 20 days than we did in 31 days in January, our previous best month
ever! April should be even more amazing. Thank you, thank you, a million
times, thank you! It means so much to us that folks are up here reading
and enjoying The Drag Racing List.
