This pic is of Jim Fox and Dennis Holding's 'Frantic Four' car that Ron Goodsell took on tour in '65. (That's Goodsell on the other side of the motor.)

The shot was taken at Sanford, several weeks after the car had been in an incident with Garlits at Cecil County.

Garlits had blown a motor while running Goodsell in a match race, got oiled down, and in turn, ran into the back of the Frantic Four car.

I can't remember how badly Big was hurt in that crash but, whatever, he "retired" from driving as a result of it. [Carl Schiefer then took over as driver of the SR 6 for a spell.]

Sometime later Garlits had a change of heart and got back in it once again...
