The Golden Greek in 1960

I shot this at the 1960 AHRA Nats in Kansas City. NHRA had banned fuel, which gave a big boost the AHRA. Didn't last long, as I recall. BTW, that was probably the worst meet I ever attended. PA system kept breaking down as did the lines to the clocks. To top it all off, we had several Colorado fuel cars there and we had never raced below 5200 feet. Didn't know what to do with all the horsepower. None of our cars made a complete pass, I think.
