Here's a previously unpublished pic of the Wheeler Dealer 2, taken at the '69 Dallas Springnats.

No photo credit on the pic but I believe it's a Leslie Lovett shot (a tad out of focus...)

To refresh your memory, this car was a 185" SPE car with Hanna tin and Cerney paint. Motor was a KB-derived, destroked 426 that measured 396". It ran best times in the 6.6's @ 232+.

This was the race where we went from a comfortable #12 or 13 qualifying spot to "first alternate" (#17) within the final half-hour qualifying window! Ouch!
