Here are some more shots from the '74 Summernationals. The photos of Ed McCulloch and Don Prudhomme are interesting. Who would have thought that they would ever work together as they are now, much less that Don would give tuning responsibility to Ed? This is definitely from their young and handsome era, unlike the graying elder statesmen they are today. Don is confirming a morning tune up with former crew chief Bob Brandt and drawing admiring interest from the gal on the left. Ed on the other hand is chatting with Bob Farmer of Bob's Drag Chute's fame who had a top fueler at that meet driven by Chuck Kurzawa.
