I thought you might like to see a
Sharkman's eye view of Anita Makela losing the motor in a big way on
a qualifying run at the Main Event at Santa Pod last May.
Despite this early season drama (remember, most European teams
have maybe two or three spare motors to last the season!)
Anita bounced back to win the overall FIA European drag racing
championship for 2000.
