Scott Weney behind the wheel of the Sheetz Racing 2001 Corvette beat all comers to win the Amalie Oil Northern Nationals at New England Dragway. While I'd like to say I was rooting for Scott in the final, he was facing off against local hero David Ray from New Hampshire and most of us locals were hoping allot of yelling could make a difference. Alas, despite David's .461 to .526 reaction time advantage, Scott ripped off a consistent 5.98 to down David Ray's game 6.09. Scott also laid down awesome burnouts.
