Here's a shot of the fastest man on two wheels, Larry "Spiderman" McBride during an exhibition run at the Gatornationals a few years ago. In October of 1999, McBride became the first drag bike racer to break the five-second barrier, running 5.993 at 243.68 in Houston. Recently, at the AMA/Prostar Star Racing Nationals at Atlanta Dragway, he recorded the quickest motorcycle run in history, clicking off an amazing 5.89/228.46 mph pass. Incredibly, Larry covered the last half of the track in 1.999 seconds, the first time in history the distance has been traversed in under two seconds.
