How's this grab ya? This is San Gabriel in 1963 (talk about your exposed drivers!)

This looks like Kenny Ellis, but it's not -- although he did have some input in the car (i.e., the front end). The car is the Cook Brothers & Jahns small Dodge 241 Hemi with a 4-71 blower on fuel. This was perhaps one of the most unique cars ever run. A three wheel, jack start sidewinder -- about as rare as it gets! I saw it run several times -- and being a 'Winder Guy' -- I hung around with these guys a bit... The car worked real good, and was somewhat competitive in its day. Very quick in the first eighth mile! (They did have a nose for the winder; it's just not on the car here).
