Cruz Pedregon was happy to give up the Flaming Frank paint design for obvious reasons.

Cruz was very grateful "Advance Auto Parts" decided to sponsor him for the 2002 season. It appears that last year while campaigning the "Flamin' Frank" funny car, he was running out of bodies. Every time Cruz tried to duplicate "The Flame," he'd burn off the back of the car.
