This is a cartooned look at the Ratican, Jackson, and Stearns car. This is part of a proposal for an animation class I teach in the Aspen area. 

Originally, the car was just a blue race car. Then I looked at one of my old Drag Racer magazines and saw the resemblance. I couldn't help but turn it into the car you see today.

Why no smoke from the tires? Why no flames from the pipes? Because these would come later as a separate layer, and this piece was definitely part of my original proposal. Anyway, the stuff I used to draw this are colored pencil, black ink, and paint as required. The actual image size is 4"x6 1/2"ish. A cool piece for a kid's room maybe.
