Sunday was different for Steve Tryon's '58 Vette NFC. He dropped a piston or two and instead of shutting it off he kept his foot in it. Back pressure from the misfiring engine blew both top seams from the fuel tank and ... ka-boom! Eight gallons of nitro ignites. Thankfully Steve walked away from this one.
