Here is one of my shots of Alan Bockla's roadster. He bought it from a good friend of mine who ran it with a flathead at the 1956 race in Great Bend, Kansas. Alan's parents owned and operated F&M Auto (Ford & Mercury) for a bunch of years in the early '50s. Great people. I'm not sure why Bockla picked a small block for the car. He went on to run several fuel dragsters.
