Chevrolet S-10 and Tim Freeman in the Bluegrass Transportation S-10.
The trucks were around for only a few years before being replaced by Pro

Funny Mod by Danny White.
In drag racing you have to push the rules to see what
happens. In 1992, during the early years of Pro Mod, Tommy Mauney built three pro
mods that almost turned the class on its head. The bodies were built from
Cutlass funny car shells for Scotty Cannon, Micheal Martin, and Mauney
himself. Scotty Cannon is shown here burning out at Bristol. The cars were allowed to race in 1992 but were banned

In 1982, Frank Manzo built this Pontiac Trans Am to
defend his 1981 NHRA World Championship. Manzo almost won the title
again, finishing in the second spot to Bob Gottschalk. Frank ran a best
of 6.46 at 214 with the car that he ran through the end of the 84
