The Candies & Hughes Motorcraft backed Probe driven by Mark Oswald was one of the quickest and fastest funny cars of the 1989-90 season. Oswald ran a 5.19 in 1989 while setting the NHRA National record at 283.28. In 1990, Oswald upped the national record record to 284.10.
