The Blair's Speed Shop Camaro driven by Steve Bovan was probably best known for its unique paint job of red on one side and blue on the other side. The Chevy powered Camaro hung with the best of the Southern California crowd although it was said to run on 100 percent alcohol. backed Probe driven by Mark Oswald was one of the quickest and fastest
funny cars of the 1989-90 season. Oswald ran a 5.19 in 1989 while
setting the NHRA National record at 283.28. In 1990, Oswald upped the
national record record to 284.10. The Candies & Hughes team broke up
