Notes: Jim "Jazzy" Nelson is credited with being the first prominent racer to utilize the Fiat Topolino ("little mouse") body in drag racing. His flathead-powered, '34 Ford-framed competition coupe presaged the many hundreds of Fiat-bodied altereds that were to follow.
