Notes: Bill Lininger is the new owner of this VERY original '66 Fiat once owned by the Walden brothers of Bob and Joe and most recently by Mike Biggy. Raced between 1966/68 under the '069' on the door until NHRA wouldn't allow it anymore, so the number was switched to 369 instead. After a brief racing life, it was parked for nearly 30 years. The Walden brothers ran a Ford Thunderbird motor early on which propelled them to over 200 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in another car. When that engine blew, the Chevy motor was put in. The car has all the original paint, lettering, and decals from 1966. Bill Lininger owns several 'lost and found' drag cars that includes Ken Veney's Vega and the "Tom & Jerry" '73 Duster Funny Car to name just a couple! Rick Howard photo. |

Notes: Keith built the car for Dan and got to license in it. Before this run (and the half-track 8.98 before it), the fastest Keith had ever gone was 11 seconds flat! - Keith Burgan, Racin & Rockin Radio, May 19, 2014 |
