Notes: I am Vic's younger brother. After driving a Fuller-chassied Top Fuel car in Oregon for a few years. Vic came to California. After building the Corvette, on his crossover license runs at Bakersfield, a heim end broke at 1000 feet and gently rolled the car over on its roof. After Cerny repaired the body, Vic won an 8 car show at Lions two weeks later (Pappy handed him his check). He ran at Seattle and Eugene in the summer of 70. If I remember correctly, he beat Frank Hall in the Green Elephant in Eugene (eighth mile) and ran over 200 at Seattle. The T car had the best of everything (Black, Cerny, Hanna, Dick Fletcher chassis). The car was built for a 2-speed and clutch, but ran a B&M Torqueflite. Then they switched to the clutch when Rusty Delling took over. After Morse relinquished driving chores to Delling, the car crashed at Lions, resulting in serious injury to Delling. - Steve Morse. A full-color centerspread photo of car appeared in the 1/71 issue of Super Stock & Funny Car. - RT | Mister T Corvette lots were a local used car dealerships that specialized in the sale of used muscle cars and race cars. They were a favorite haunt for Vietnam vets returning from war seeking a fast car. Mister T originally sponsored Steve Bovan in 69. - Bill Duke
