Notes: Dyno Don's '68 Logghe car, cool Paul Shedlik paint. Don ran a 7.48 early in 1968 at Milan, but the car ended up being run by Frank. Dyno disliked blowers and started match racing his '65 AA/MP Mustang. Don disliked the FIRES that resulted from the exploding blown engines that burned many drivers. Gas Ronda's horrendous fire was enough for Dyno to get out of the funny cars ASAP. |

Notes: Jon's IHRA National event winning home built Mustang. Raced by Jon from 1973 through 1975. This car was mostly run with a home made highly modified HOLLEY 500 TWO BARREL, converted to annular discharge by Jon. Jon sold quite a few of the "trick" 2bbls to IHRA racers back then. Dyno Don Nicholson used to "pay attention" to it whenever he and Jon were at the same event. |
