Notes: The Vega Pro Stock we raced from 1973 until 1976, mostly at Detroit Dragway, Onondaga, and Milan, Michigan. Including a NHRA points race at Bay City (Tri-City Dragway) and a National meet at Detroit Dragway (IHRA, I believe). From 1973 to 1977, I worked on my days off for Tom Smith at Wolverine Chassis in Romulus, Michigan, working on my own car and helping Tom with some of the most famous Pro Stockers of the time. (Was the best time of my life). We didn't take many photos of our own cars, but sure have a good collection of other racers. We were a low budget car and raced when we could, but couldn't afford the changes to a Lenco and competed with a Liberty Chrysler 4 speed. CJ Batten helped us with the heads. - Dan Morea |

Notes: From 71 to 73. I also drove the A/A Super Suddenly. The Owner of the A/A John Hoyt has just purchased the AA/FA El Toro and is restoring it to its former glory. Thanks, Dan Morea |
