Notes: Experienced the big high of running the first ever 5.40 in Australia with a 5.469 at the fastest speed in the country at 263.92 MPH to the biggest low of crashing and rolling the car in the sand trap on the same run. Dad is OK, car needs some fixin' up. - Cheyne Phillips, 11/18/11 | The funny car is running well at the moment. We won the Nationals a couple of weeks ago in Sydney. Qualified #2 with a 5.54/256 MPH, then ran 5.61/256, 5.60/258 and 5.59/255 in eliminations. - Cheyne Phillips 9/11 | Eighth mile/1000 foot incremental times on the 5.46/263 were as follows: 3.608/210.60 at the eighth and 4.614 at 1000 feet. |
