Notes: The "Little Yellow Wagon" was a fixture in the exhibition class, running at major tracks, and NHRA national events from 1965 to 1968. The wheelstander was built from a '65 Ford Econoline "body in white" with a John Sachs-built sub-frame supporting a Hilborn-injected 427 Ford Hi-riser, also built and maintained by John Sachs. Bill Kolb Jr. was the driver, recording consistent ETs of 10.40 on a full rear wheel quarter-mile pass. - JS | Truck received the four-page feature treatment (plus cover) in the 10/65 issue of Super Stockers In Action. - RT |
