Notes: Injected gas. Decades later, altering the wheelbase of a legendary Thunderbolt was considered a desecration, but at the time it was just another year-old race car. - RT | Ran this car through 1967. The former Jim Price T-Bolt. - DD |

Notes: Ted was driving Chuck Grimsley's Coronet on October 23 at Sun Valley Raceway in Oklahoma for the Fall Funny Car Festival. He was running well, but a Low ET of the meet 9.22 at 153.35 lost to Doc Spence's quick-leaving 9.38/152. Listed times from (Drag News) | Fuel injected. We are 99% certain this ran a 426 Hemi in it. DeTar often ran cars he built the engines for. We should be able to determine the owner soon. |
