Notes: Cliff was driving this car at Aquasco on July 26 for the Coca-Cola Cavalcade race. In the opening round, his 7.93 lost to Kelly Chadwick's 7.53. In August, he was at Niagara International for another Cavalcade race. He won his first-round race with a 7.61/180.36, but he lost in the semifinal. AKA Spirit of Dark Horse. Cliff finished the Coke circuit season in this car after Pulde moved to drive Dick Bourgeois' red Javelin. Photo from September 1970. |
