Notes: "New" '66 steel Chevelle body dropped down on the old '65 "Shaker" factory frame. Mechanic Del Heinelt takes over driving chores from Jim Cornell. former Dyno Don mechanic Tom Jones aded to team. Semi-hemi 427 engine bolted to 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic trans. Off-the-shelf BBC Hilborn injectors replace fabricated ones on earlier car. Glass front end, doors, deck lid and bumpers; weighed 2700 pounds.
