Notes: In 1992, Bill started flogging his first supercharged engine. All of his spares were Nitrous engines, though. He had one race where he started out qualifying with the blower. Then blew it up and had to switch back to Nitrous. Rebuilt the supercharged engine overnight. Put it in for eliminations where he blew it up while winning. Then put the Nitrous plant back in for the a runner up finish. Engine change also included trans, clutch, tach, fire bottles, ballast, hood scoop, linkage, 3rd member, different fire suit, etc. The crew hated him. Finished #3 1992 IHRA Pro Modified and #9 1992 Super Chevy Sunoco Cup - Barry Kuhlmann |
