Notes: Boggs ran a 7.11/218.44 with the car at IHRA Rockingham '78 the week before crashing the car, which I clearly remember witnessing. It was the quickest REFC I'd ever seen, other than Jim Dunn. - Bret Kepner | The RE Grand Am ran 7.11 at 218.44 at the IHRA Pro-Am Nationals at Rockingham over the weekend of April 28/30, 1978. I believe the Grand Am was destroyed at Blaney, SC, on Saturday, May 8. I know Casto was running his TF car at the IHRA Spring Nationals at Bristol on June 16/18. - Bret Kepner | Did not run NHRA national events. |
