Well, I was officially hooked before this car existed, but it went a long way towards setting that hook permanently.This picture was taken by me in 1968, U.S. National, at Indy. "Ohio"

"Ohio George" to be specific. The Mustang, 1969 edition to be exact. The car ran on rails. US Nats winner, record holder, and yes, it was also the real downfall of the AA/GS class (with help from the NHRA, of course). Such is progress.
