I just read where Anne Lepone passed away. If her name isn't familiar, she's the mother of Joe Lepone who raced in Pro Stock a few years back. From what I have read about her, she sounded like a very special person. My condolences to Joe and the Lepone family.

Glenn Angel is one of the founders of Huston Raceway Park and a former Comp class racer. Glenn's wife is Lori Johns Angel, a former top fuel racer. Glenn is 52 years old and passed away from cancer. God speed Glenn, the pain is now over.
Went to the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh one night to see America, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor. This was probably in the mid. 70's. The roof of the arena opened up and they opened it that night which was a real treat. I don't think it was so much for the view, but to let the wacky weed smoke out.
