Sounds like we are all ready for Turkey Day. Em is home, safe and sound. She's excited because she hasn't seen the new bathrooms yet. It's like a new house! She gets her official permanent driver's license tomorrow, so look out world -- no more provisional! bp
Well LL went shopping the other day for the holidy bird. I stayed home. When she came home she asked me to get the bird out of the trunk.
No problem I thought, till I got to the car. I almost needed a hi-lo. Seems she bought a taradactyl this year 28lbs. I didn't know they came that big.
I can't imagine it being able to fly, without a propellar on it's beek.
32 degrees now with overcast skies and cold temps. I have to stop at the grocery store for some goodies then my day is free. Oh yeah, I have to try and do brain surgery on Father Christmas as he fell over and broke his clay face and skull since last year. It is going to be like a jigsaw puzzle with glue.
Good wild and rainy morning. We will be having turkey dinner about 2pm at Finn's Restaurant .We've had our Canadian Thanks Giving, now an American one. I've had a lot to be thankful for this year.
Morning group. 24 degrees with sunshine to come in the afternoon but bbrrr it is cold. I didn't eat
too much yesterday so I feel pretty good and even had a snack before I went to bed. We had a good
Thanksgiving and called some of our friends too.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We had a great day. Caught up with lots of friends in person (and by telephone!) Brother Tim was over and we sat up Wednesday night drinking scotch and listening to old Bing Crosby and Sammy Davis Jr. records. Ate and drank way too much but it was fun. Today is tryptophan recovery day and then a nice weekend. Enjoying our remaining visit with Emily. bp
