Thanks for all these kind words, folks...right now I'm back working on a Funny Car graphic with a guy who has a major sponsorship that's about a week away from signing him...I was referred to him by Rapid last month...so I haven't been around much this afternoon and evening...here's how I see it...if what I did helped in any way to put Scott and Rapid that much closer to getting this car, then it was a success. I keep going back and looking at the CAR...that thing is going to RULE. Nobody was more surprized than I was this morning. WOW. I can't wait to see it in Nitro Madness livery, puffing 50% (like the picture has it doing) and spreading the Madness. It was a privilege to work on this project with Rapid, he's a total class guy all the way. Let the good times roll! Cheers, WC1
PS: I'd like to add that I think buying this car instead of building one was one of the most astute and practical decisions I've seen since Mike sent a grand to the guy with the '60 Chevy fiberglass panels just before he left for Eddyville. Rapid and Scott could build this, sure. It would take a long time and probably cost somewhat more in materials and man-hours than what they spent to buy this one, which is ready to rock right now. It just makes sense, don't it...Cat
