The internet has been down all day here. It comes up for a minute or so, then goes down again.

Thanks for all the great posts! I am in love with the new little jewel! 8)

9.5 inch Strange top loader with a 4.30 gear. We are Mark Williams guys. But, Vern Moats lives here in town and always runs Stange's Stuff. So I expect Vern will lend his knowledge if we need to service it. I am planning on running this rear end for the 2007 season. If we don't like the gear, we may change it out for a Mark Williams, as we know how to work on them and have 2-center sections for MW.

It didn't come with any treats or puppys, but I think I got a cavity on the way home after seeing how "SWEET" it is!

Those strange top loader's are good rear ends but I hear they are a bear to work on.

I really don't know. They are a neat looking piece. But, I have alot more experience with the Mark Williams style.

I guess we will learn it. I can say for sure. If it gives any trouble, we will just order a new Mark Williams and be done with it.

I am guessing the must be pretty decent though. I don't think Stange makes any bad stuff. :)

You heard right, with the way they are designed you get excellent gear life, but you don't want to take one apart, not unless you have an evening & some tin1's for the project. Didn't have any tin1's while working on it but sure did afterwards.
