Gas Prices????

Postby Bob Kraemer » Sat Apr 01, 2006 1:12 pm

 Can someone please explain why gas prices are so high again?
Besides the usual Bull Crap reasons, futures trading, supply and demand, they got it we want it etc!!!!!
Gas prices are 2.699 here in Cincinnati, Ohio
We have had no natural diasters, no terrosists attacks etc!! Except if you count the earth quakes in that fricken country Iran. I feel sorry for some of the people in Iran but not that stupid moron president they have elected. That boy needs a bullet between the eyes!!!!!

i can talk from esperience from 1972- 2001.... regarding prices rangeing from one end of town to the other..I managed a Shell and across the intersection was an Amaco....we both had the same prices everyday.. this was in a high class neighborhood... we were always 10 cents a gallon higher than the going rate in other parts of the metro area ... the trick with the hi-volume joints is get you on the lot with a low fuel price, then take your monies with overpriced everyday items like bread, milk, food etc..gas is gas... always has been.....the QT that sells alot of gas gets $3 for a gallon of 2% milk..... the piglet and beans store charges $2.19 for the same milk across the street but don't sell gas...

there is a second choice, flex fuel vehicles, theyv'e been on the market for some time now, and they'll run on gasoline od methanol, i think ford has the most out there right now, check the underhood emissions decal, it should tell you there wheather or not it's a flex fuel, but is it cheaper to buy a new car or just pay for gas and complain?

..... yep FH... it's all a scam.... the flex-fuel cars on the market are a few thousand more than the stock deal...same with the hy-brid electric stuff..it's all a balancing act right now.. persanol choice.. :?
