Dave Danish suffers heart attack

My dad just told me that Dave Danish just suffered a massive heart attack. We are pulling for him. As the track operator at Fontana Raceway, racers could not have asked for a nicer person! Dave is always willing to offer anyone a helping hand, in between all the work he had cut out for him. Dave was supposed to be the new track manager at the Tucson track where he started, and where he is hoping to retire from. We were sad that he was going to be going to Arizona, but we hope he gets to go there and continue his career. It will be a great excuse to go race at that track and say hi to a great person.

I'm kind of stunned. I was looking up Californiaspeedway.com, right before checking out this site, to check out the schedule for this weekend's race, and on the main page, it said he had passed. Truely, a very sad situation. I just hope he truely understood how much I appreciated him, for everything he did, including signing my license off when I was getting it. He will be miss.

Sorry to hear about Dave, Heather. Good guys are scarce these days. I send prayers to his family and I hope the best for their future. WC1
