Match Race Mania is Upon Us!

Match Race Mania at Rt.66 Dragway has great weather predicted this time. The event is this Sat the 19th. This inaugral event was rained out last Sept.

I am still going to match Race Arnie Beswick as planned last year.

I hope it goes over good. Rick Krafft the promoter has spent lot of $$$$ on promotion. Radio Ads are like the old days.

One radio ad says, "Arnie the Farmer is going to put a leash on Animal Jim and put him in a cage"

I have bad news, at least for me it is bad news as I wanted to race at Joliet extreamly bad!!!

Nitro Madness is NOT going to make the trip. Scott and I were on the phone today and both agreed we are just not ready to go race in competition. I have to get the routine down to see the tree, whether we modify the car, or I just learn to look different directions or whatever.

I am sorry to miss seeing all of you, and it was going to be a great chance to finally meet Pete!! I hope they do a fall race that we can be a part of!!

I am looking forward to a ton of photos and reports from you guys. I just heard Cory Mac is going to be there racing in one of the classes also.

Nobody is more disappointed than me!! I had big plans for that racetrack!!
