Good thread, Music Chickie...I suppose music occupies most of my time away from DragList. I do graphics, but that's my main connection to drag racing and drag racers other than we all think alike. Sort of...I can spin a tale sometimes, too. Lately I've been working on building a recording studio here in our house (it'll be in the garage), piece by piece. It's small steps and an occasional big step (I just got a new set of drums for my son Nick, and I bought a ProTools recording system...now I have to get all the stuff that goes with it...) but I'm thinking that I'll work on it until it's up and running full speed and sounding professional. I'll record Nick's band, Blastula's CD here, my older son Kyle's band, Dim's CD also...I have a couple of albums' worth of material that I want to record on my own, and I'm going to ask the Citykings (the band I was in forever) to record their next CD here, or at least come over and lay down some tracks with me. I play guitar locally in the Pee Wee Bowen Band, it's a big band, a show band. A lot like an orchestra, actually...you'd know about that! Lots of music going on here...got Death-Metal going on non-stop in the garage...they're good boys. Talented, ambitious and focused on making their band successful...I'm behind 'em 100%. I don't tell 'em what to play or how to play (I'm not a real big fan of that type of music, but it sure beats having them going out and looking for trouble), I just offer support and advice if I'm asked. Cheers, WC1
