 thread derailment.... took 50 ford #1 back to dad's house after switching all the good parts onto 50 short roof coupe #2... he had found 2 baby dove birds under a pile of leaves alongside the house while doing some yard work earlier this spring and almost ran over them with the mower... now they are twice as big and follow him from the front door of the house, side by side down the little sidewalk to the driveway when he gets in his car(s).... i had heard about them but saw them today..cool with a capitol C... !! niether one is ready to fly so they just walk around. Dad says a large one sits on the phone wire above the street watching them but never lands in the yard ? just thought i'd share the deal with all of you. pretty neat.... nature 8)

Cool Jim, it is neat, got a squirrell who gives the dog heck all day here. I put a little wooden ledge on the big walnut tree out front for him to sit on, now he sits on the ledge and drives the dog nuts, I'll try and get a pic of him!
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Hint: When you start a thread with the words "Thread Derailment," that's pretty much a sure sign that you could have started a new thread! :D

Speaking of squirrels, I got one in the family room attic... just called a guy to come over and take care of business. But I have to time it right... need to get it done, then have my eaves redone so that the hole that he's getting in is gone. If too much time passes between, another one might get in. I guess there's always chicken wire in the meantime... bp

There are a lot of qualified gals who could take over the reigns of a nostalgia FC. Ton's of 'em in Super Comp, etc. Let's see what happens next. bp
