Cool... I saw this type of system in action at Willowbank, Australia, in 1998 and I wondered how long it would take to get up here... It's awesome. bp

Eddyville has always been a tough track to win at. We would read in the dragster about races at other tracks. It was crazy what would win anywhere else would not get you a round win at Eddyville.

Back in the Early to mid 80's tranny brakes were hot, very few if any delay boxes. It took a .02-.04 to win with a close to your number. You could go .05 on the tree, if you ran dead on the number. Anything less was sending you home.

A .02,.03, and close to the dial would keep you going rounds, unless the good guess resulted in the other guys .006 light with him runing dead on, then you got to go home.

You had to run for example, if you dialed a 6.28 you had better run a 6.30 or better to keep advancing. If you had a .05 light you had better run the number or something like a 6.29 max.

Close racing on the 1/8 mile track!

yea it's tuff at gateway because of the money involves... we do ok in the sreet class ..12.00 and slower.. pro/et is tuff because most cars have trans. brakes and are alot faster...most likely we will just fall back into street/et after a few weeks of trying to play with them guys

normally i don't pay much attention to whats going on other than our deal in the 2 classes....there are great cars in super pro that can go 7 rounds with lights no worse than .020 5 or 6 with .010 and better.. there are at least 20 rear engine dragsters that run mid 7's @ over 165 mph a couple ran over 180 last week  i sure like the new detailed coverage at our tracks site.... 8)

.... Just sitting here reading and yakking.... If somehow i could teach Don the Driver how to cut some decent lights with his heap we should be able to compete for the big cash and points... in both classes. :?
