There is a WIDE gap between me (and most others) and guys like Bret, Bob Frey, Dave McClelland, etc. Still, it's fun to know 'em! bp

Frey is the man! Always love his allegience to the little guy. Bob helped me pull one of my better pranks at a CHRR bout a decade ago.

I would have to agree about Bret...Every year when I do the World Series DVD, it takes forever to do cause I am always trying to get in some of Brets stories he told during the evening...

BP,yes,those are the masters of the mic you mention there but I believe that little stint you had at MIR may qualify you as something more than a "hobbyist".You called some great racing.

I heard the altered lead in it was killer!!.......not only talking up the sheer evilness of those cars but the "idoits" who drive em CLASSIC .........they also mentioned some of the baddest AA/FA's ever built came from our area......the DAK team and Gabby Bleeker to name only a couple......they also went on about the et's are not as important as getting the car to the finish line with the car and driver in one piece.great stuff and just add's to the mystery of those cars.the first REAL HOT RODS in the sport..........
