Back in the 70's we did burnouts at the NSRA Nats. :oops: :oops: :oops: Thousands of people lining the curbs for blocks downtown. Doing out of shape burnouts. :oops: :oops: :oops: Might just as well have been playin' Russian Roulette. :oops: :oops: :oops:

yep.. at the old st.louis track, even with a "gaurdrail" a car got into the stands.. i was there but didn't gob down track to the scene..

G.A.T., I'll try to do this right, go to cnn.com, search transcripts, go to the bottom of the page, hit transcripts again, the calendar will come up. Click on sunday the 16th. Then click on video on the left sidebar. then look under sports.
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

That was sad to see.
I can clearly remember standing out on some country roads watching guys race. I even participated in some of those races, so I'm not going to blast those people for their lack of safety items such as guardrails.
Unfortunately, some folks on other boards don't seem to feel the same way.
