Cars For Sale

Postby Iowa Al » Sun Nov 18, 2007 1:40 pm

I heard a retirement rumor about Newberry.
Payne has money and is probably just updating. Not sure though
Moats, I'll have to check on.

I forgot to say congratulations and thanks to the 'Newb for some real thrills...he's a great guy who had a great career, became a pro in the sportsman ranks and made his way through those years against some extremely tough competition. TA/FC has always been my favorite sportsman class and Bob Newberry has always been a major threat when he wasn't winning it all outright...good luck in the future, Bob, that must have been a tough decision that you made look sensible and pretty simple...I have no doubt you'll have the Stealth Valvoline FC out front and on top. Cheers, WC1

A great competitor who dominated at times but was always competitive and one of the truly nice guys in the sport.

Alky Cars are cool. They run 'em like a race car should, leave with the "R's" up - and shift 'um. (not leave at idle with the clutch already out and one gear) My hats off to the Alky boys + girls. 8) 8)
