Pro,I think the whole purpose of throwing tea in water is the big "sploosh"sound.Throwing it on the curb,no mater how hard, won't make any noise.

Barb could throw the tea in the harbor, Tape it, Then I could play back the big "sploosh" sound as I drop the tea bag on the curb.

Try it, you might just like it!!!LOL
Besides, I don't think any one actually drinks the tea at those kind of tea parties. Beer, whiskey and an assortment of alcoholic beverages maybe, but not the tea.

This is unlike the American Girl Tea Party I attended in Chicago a few years ago. $15.00 per person for tea and those little one bite sandwiches!!
It's a good thing the Mrs. and Sammie didn't like them, so I got to eat theirs also. :D Oh yeah, they even had little chairs that slid onto the table so the American Girl Doll could join you. No extra charge for that, but you had to go through the store on the way in and out. There is also a small theater on site with American Girl plays.
They certainly know how to get all they can from there customers!!!!!!
