Thanks, that video is funny. What's not funny is when people take it too seriously. I and my family have personally always said Happy Holidays. To me, it meant we were including Christmas and New Years together in the holiday season. I'd like to say that I was doing it to try to be inclusive of other religions, but that wasn't the case. Now, as I've grown and matured, I see that it is sort of wacky and even a bit pushy to wish Merry Christmas to a Jewish person or Arab person, but I have to say they are usually more gracious in receiving that greeting than many Christians are in receiving "Happy Holidays." I have to tell you that I really get pissed off when folks try to correct my warm greeting to them as if I'm trying somehow to soft pedal Christmas. But... that's another story. In the case of this thread, I'm receiving the greeting, and in all cases, the only civilized thing to do is accept it in the spirit in which it was given, and warmly wish Merry Christmas back, and to one and all. bp
