Half Moon Bay, CA

Half Day Drag Strip, Chicago, IL - early 50's airport strip where "the Greek" and many other IL stars got their start.

Yellow River GA - a 40-foot wide, medianed "cowpath" with a single string of 100 watt lighbulbs for illumination and a one-lane shutoff. Some of the wildest "southern style" match racing took place there in the early 60's.

Cahokia. MO - small, eighth-miler just across the border from southern Illinois. Great 1/8-mile fuel meets there in the 60's.
