It seems to me that state and county fairs would be an excellent place to display a drag car to build interest... perfect demographics. But they usually happen during racing season, so I guess that's why it's not often done. bp

I saw something I had never seen at the state fair in all my years of going. There was a HUGE car show right on the main road. All most every single person at the fair got to see these cars. I didn't see any sign or who put the deal together, but there was some 1st class iron there. 8)

BP, a booth at a county fair would be a grand idea. Our state fair is so LARGE that I am afraid a small booth or 1-car would be just lost in the shuffle. Unless we could start it on Nitro a few times a day. :wink: :D

Morning to all,..live from the brainerd Zoo, Lucas Oil Nats, and
out on the road for weeks,...lol
Having a great time, We (Clint Thompson Racing) are doing well
qaulified #2 with a 5.66@ 254 mph and 1 Q left in a few hours.
looking good ,...low car count here this weekend 13 cars total.
But we are after the minnasota wally.
