I was at HRP when he and WJ had the burndown in the P/S final...Buster Couch wasn't going to have any of it after neither one of 'em'd stage, and he paid a visit to each guy, up close and personal-like...the crowd loved every second of it...we were howling...everybody was! It was SG's first year with the Dodge Boys after being with WJ for a number of years, and they were sorta having a grudge race but it was a Pro Stock final round at an NHRA National event...finally they staged and WJ beat him. WJ went on to win the Winston championship that year...I forget which year that was exactly...second-to-last year that Buster was the starter...RIP, Scott. Sorry about that, man...God Bless. WC1
