Material Prices ???

Being a self employed electrical contractor some of my base material has gone up 200 % in the last year & half. A 250ft roll of 12/2 Romex that is used to wire houses use to be 35.00 now it is 80.00 a 250ft roll of M/C cable was 85.00 a month & half ago now it is 125.00 per roll.
How much has your base or raw material gone up?

Diamond grade sheeting last year $1,475.00 a roll. This year $1,534.00. 4'x8' substrate has gone up $7- $10 a sheet. And, we all know what "gas" does to delivery cost.

while I have no idea about diamond grade sheeting

, I do concur with the 4x8 (and 4x10) substrate prices.........there was a time when I could get MR-10 (lexan) for about $200.......now its over $250

.....sheesh.....and I need a couple of sheets for Peggy
