while i was leaning on a fence near the finish line waiting for uncle Curt to run his 62 corvette Art ARFONS blew me on my butt in the Green Monster . i was about 8 years old...

Careful Doug. The "Z" was going to be a warmed over street car to cruise around in. 1 thing leads to another and then.........B vewy, vewy careful.

I didn't even start talking about the fuel system.. New wiring harness, big alternater, relocating the battery...

Doug, why don't ya build a dragster? Lots of guys here to help ya. JMO. It would be cheaper and faster for the money.

our best et ever @12.479 will not be matched this season unless i can talk Don into putting the bumpers behind his shed and putting less fuel in the tank and leaving his reading glasses on the fender of the trailer

as it gets warmer and the humidity gets to 80% like it does around here we will settle back into the 12.70 range....
